An exciting role for an ambitious compliance professional has become available in a unique area of expertise. We are searching for an assistant director of compliance in the eGambling and internet gaming arena This role is open to Guernsey based professionals which can be based in Guernsey or Alderney for candidates willing to relocate.
Applicants should hold a professional qualification such as ICA or a relevant one in financial crime and countering of terrorist financing. Preferably candidates will have had experience in internet gaming compliance and systems data analysis.
Main aspects of the role include operational guidance to licence holders, formation of policy in granting licences, monitoring the compliance performance of licensees. A good understanding of the technical aspects of emerging online markets will be essential.
Applicants should have a highly analytical approach and the ability to express difficult concepts clearly and precisely. They should also be team players willing to share ideas and workloads as appropriate sometimes under urgent situations in fast paced industry.
The role could be operated remotely but only candidates with a good demonstrable pedigree in eGambling compliance will be considered. There is no licence to live and work in Guernsey with this role.
