AP Executive are looking for an experienced Staff Writer who can produce fresh, innovative content around cryptocurrency market developments for a high growth platform in Geneva. The platform is a new venture that sits within a well-established business, and you will be working closely with a small team to deliver innovative solutions in a fast growing and dynamic sector.
The role will include coverage of various industry events and breaking crypto news, incorporating a variety of perspectives, including insights from a macroeconomic lens when relevant. Working alongside analysts and editors, the successful applicant will generate news articles in English about the latest events and ongoing trends in the market, as well as broader economic implications. You will usually deliver more the one article a day, blending short news briefs with in-depth features that broaden readers’ understanding of the crypto universe and its global context.
You will track breaking crypto/macroeconomic events, identifying relevant and unique angles for original reporting. You will follow the impact that crypto is having across emerging markets, shifting global economic policies, and cross-market implications.
To be considered for this position you will have extensive writing/journalistic experience in the financial sector, and have a passion for the crypto market. You will have the intuition and tenacity to uncover original and compelling stories, and possess the creativity and writing abilities to bring the stories to life. You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
