Our client is a global financial services business providing knowledge-based solutions to clients worldwide. For their long-established Guernsey operation we are looking to fill the role of the head of commercial compliance for their funds services offering.
Key responsibilities will include assisting the company MLCO and MLRO in ensuring the funds business is compliant with applicable laws, regulations, supervisory requirements, internal policies and procedures. Develop strategies for the commercial compliance function over a designated timespan.
As a member of the senior leadership team you will be expected to hold regular meetings with staff providing updates of the local regulatory requirements and the ongoing development of the company’s compliance function. Strong leadership and communication skills will be essential
Demonstrable managerial experience within a regulated financial services will be essential. Knowledge of the offshore funds industry is desirable as is a relevant professional qualification .
