A well-respected international trust company based in the British Virgin Islands is looking to recruit an experienced compliance officer.
This interesting and varied role will require you to oversee the important compliance matters pertaining to the company as well as other BVI registered companies and trusts our client is responsible for.
You will review KYC and compliance procedures for all new registered incorporations for fiduciary clients as well as intermediary entities. Ensure all entities have appropriate risk filing and update risk reviews. Conduct due diligence and KYC checks on all new and existing clients. Liaise with clients, intermediaries and operations team regarding onboarding of clients. Ensure regulatory reports are completed within deadlines. Report any non-compliance activities or queries to head of compliance. Present compliance information to the risk committee and make any recommendations.
To be eligible for this role you must have excellent attention to detail and be a team player. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. Professional compliance qualifications would be an asset but is not essential. Excellent written and spoken English and a good knowledge of MS Office suite.
