On behalf of an IT division of a major employer in Guernsey we are looking to recruit a procurement manager to play a key role in leading and supporting procurement activities. The individual will be responsible for leading procurement and commercial activities either associated with the IT department or will be allocated one or more categories of spend across the organisation's services.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to help build strategies for a range of different procurement projects or spend areas and will support the delivery through tendering and contracting processes.
He/she will work with contract owners to ensure that a robust supplier management regime is in place, and contribute to the development and promotion of standards and policies within the Procurement function. Raise awareness of effective procurement practices within key areas of the organisation.
